Letting Go

I’ve been reading this book lately that has been incredibly inspiring.

I know what you’re thinking: what first time mom- or multi-kid mom- has time (or energy) to read???

I decided I had to make time. And holyohmygoodness am I glad I did!

So the book is called “Unleash Your Inner Money Babe: Uplevel Your Money Mindset and Manifest $1,000 in 21 Days.” You can find it here 👉🏼

Manifesting $1,000 sounds pretty darn awesome!!!

…and slightly unrealistic.

You’re telling me that if I think about it, $1,000 will just magically appear? Yeah right! *insert eye roll here*
I’m here to tell you, it isn’t a bunch of hullabaloo.

I’m on day 8 of this book and challenge, and I can honestly say that I have had extra money coming in from places I never expected.

But beyond that, I’ve had some MAJOR life changes happening.

While the idea of $1,000 is quite exciting and probably what drew most of us to the book, it isn’t the point the author was making at all. This book is about manifesting a better life for yourself and learning how to utilize the law of attraction effectively in every aspect of your life, including your finances.

The author teaches you avenues to declutter and destress your life in a way that’s easy to follow and understand. Which is my inspiration for this post.

Over the last 8 days, I’ve let go of some pretty serious, pretty heavy crap. I say crap because I realize now that crap was exactly what it was. I was holding on to some awful, negative things that have happened to me from my childhood all the way to present day. Terrible things that I had no clue were having such a negative effect on me.

You don’t realize it now, but those yucky things that have happened to you that you have yet to let go of, are making you sick.

Physically ill.

Wanna know why your neck hurts all the time? Suffer from chronic migraines or headaches? Always catch the cold going around the office despite every effort not to?

Your emotional health is seriously affected by the things we’re holding on to.

Especially if those things make you feel negatively when you think about them.

If you feel bad, you’re going to attract bad things. The universe only sends you what you’re thinking will happen. Your every thought sets you on a path of exactly where you’ll go. It may not happen right away, but give it time and you will.

And yes, I do realize how bonkers that sounds.

Now I’m not sitting here wishing my head off all day. I dedicate a small amount of time to read each chapter every day, take a few moments to reflect and think about the reading and how it made me feel, then I move on with my day. But I open myself up to the positivity the universe is sending to me. That’s it.

Want to manifest $1,000? Read the book. ☝🏼

Want to know why your Mondays always suck? Or why you can’t seem to get the job you want? Or why your life seems to suck?

Read the book. ☝🏼

And also watch “The Secret.” It’s on Netflix and Hulu, and is the breakdown of how the law of attraction affects us. I won’t lie…it’s some seriously cheesy documentary kind of stuff. But I promise if you can get past that, you won’t regret it and you’ll quickly see positive changes in your life if you implement some of the ideas from it.

I watched “The Secret” about 9 months ago, but it took reading this book to really understand it and be able to put into action my own law of attraction. A major part of this being learning to let go.

I have let go of so many nasty things this week alone. It hasn’t been pretty. I’ve cried, been angry, had anxiety attacks, smiled, laughed, had awful headaches and just down days…but I feel so much lighter. I imagine a 45 pound plate like you’d find at the gym, just resting on my chest. Letting go of things isn’t all rainbows. It sucks.

But now it’s gone. I’ve left it all behind and started moving forward and away from it all. In short, I blessed and released it all. And I’ve seriously never felt better.

I encourage all of you to purchase, download or borrow this book from someone. It’s been a serious life changer for me. I feel improvements not only in my health, but in my relationships too. And strangely enough, I’ve started seeing positive things happening in the lives of the people I love!

Is it all because I wanted those things for them badly enough? Who knows.

But I’m not taking chances on doubting it. Especially when I see some major positive shifts in my life.

Enjoy your life. Live it to the fullest. Let go of the bullshit. Love the ones you love. And love every minute of this beautiful life we are so blessed to have.
