Manifesting a New Reality

A few weeks ago, my friend recommended a book to me. “Unleash Your Inner Money Babe” by Kathrin Zenkina.

From the cover, it appears to be a way to make $1,000 in 21 days. Well I’m here to not only give an honest review, but to tell you exactly what I learned.

I started reading it and following it daily. You read a chapter a day, which is super easy! The chapters are short, sweet, to the point and easy to follow. You do have a little “homework,” but I use that term loosely. It’s more journaling than anything; a way to dive into yourself a little deeper than just sitting there thinking about it.

I made it to Day 18 before a massive migraine that almost sent me to the ER took over. That and the eclipse that followed that week quickly flipped my life upside down. So needless to say, I didn’t finish the 21 days.

I didn’t exactly manifest a literal $1,000. I wasn’t lying around tossing dollar bills on my bed. But I did manifest a few hundred extra that I didn’t think I’d have, as well as some discounts on things and bills that were significantly less than expected.

More importantly though, is what those 18 days taught me.

Before I dive into that though, let’s talk about manifesting. What is it?

According to my good friend Dr. Google (who is a genius by the way- I consult him for everything) the definition of manifesting is:

display or show (a quality or feeling) by one’s acts or appearance; demonstrate.

The idea of manifesting, is that like attracts like. If you believe something, you will. Aka the Law of Attraction. (If you haven’t watched “The Secret” I highly suggest doing so. They explain this sooo much better than me! And it’s on Netflix!) So do/feel negative, you WILL be and feel negative. Same works for positivity; it’s just a little bit more difficult before you get the hang of things.

So how do you “display or show…” that you have $1,000? Or anything for that matter?

You believe it.

Manifesting is all about the words you say, think, and feel. The Universe takes VERY seriously everything you do and say. And as soon as you think something, the Universe is already forging a path for that to happen. Words like “not, won’t, can’t, etc” are especially powerful. You can’t just sit and think “I won’t be sick tomorrow.” You have to think “I will be healthy tomorrow.” Being specific about your goals is a major learning curve to work through in manifesting. The words are so important. But so is believing.

Now this might all sound silly. But let me be real with you for a second. I preach positivity to everyone around me. And it wasn’t until I started developing post partum depression that I realized how difficult it is to get out of that yuck feeling. I’ve seen my life starting to spiral more and more out of control over the last few months. But I’ve completely taken control again, and I can tell you honestly that I truly believe I did it myself.

So what does that have to do with this book?

I learned how important not only words are, but how important the feelings attached to those words are. And if you think positivily long and hard enough, you will BE positive. And that is when you start learning how to manifest the things you want.

I invite you to join me as I do Kathrin’s 21 day challenge again, and hopefully all the way through! Her book is on Amazon. I did the digital download which wasn’t super expensive at all. The hard copy was only a few bucks more.

I highly suggest doing this! What do you have to lose? You may end up with a few extra bucks or something you’ve been dreaming of for a while now! It is an investment in your future and in your happier self!
Already done Kathrin’s challenge? What did you manifest? Drop a comment!

I’ll be posting an update on my next 21 days once I’ve completed them!
